March 2024 – New Details

This month we are excited to share another set of details that have been requested regularly by our members. This set consists of external wall insulation details. This particular set shows a solid blockwork masonry wall with non-combustible mineral wool insulation and render finish. Other insulation can be used but insulation thickness may need to be altered. Refer to drawing notes for further information. 

This set consists of:

• Masonry EWI with triple glazed timber window detail
• Masonry EWI trench foundation with beam and block floor detail
• Masonry EWI front door detail level threshold
• Masonry EWI to eaves detail, insulation between and under rafters
• Masonry EWI to eaves detail large overhang
• Masonry EWI to flat roof with parapet coping detail
• Masonry EWI to flat roof fascia detail
• Masonry EWI to flat roof with overhang detail
